The superhero fever is now invading the movie world. Movies like Transformers, Hulk, Iron Man, and Hancock are a few examples of these superhero trend in the movie industry nowadays. RnB superstar Beyonce is aswell tempted with this trend.
“I want to play in a superhero movie. Nothing is more outstanding than Wonder Woman,” said Beyonce quoted from msnbc, saturday November 8th 2008.
The wife of rapper Jay-z added that the sexy costumed superhero (wonder woman) is the righ choice. Never before had wonderwoman is described as a black woman. “It’s time, isnt it?”
Beyonce is not just spreading rumors. She had shown it by meeting DC Comics and Warner Bross’ representatives to discuss this unique project of hers.
Beyonce admitted that she really loves Wonder Woman. It is ‘a dream come true’ for her if she could really have the chance to act as wonder woman in a movie.
The legendary comic story of Wonder Woman itself had never once before made it to the movie theaters. The story only once appeared in a television series in the late 70s starred by Lynda Carter.
