Pete Doherty Will Join The Who

Rocker Babyshambles, Pete Doherty, is reported to replace Pete Townsend‘s position at The Who. But, not forever, instead in one concert for charity.

The Who’s main man, Roger Daltery, said that he will ask Doherty to join his band in special concert which will be held next January. The concert aim itself is to collect money for the Teenage Cancer Trust foundation.

The legendary singer is impressed by Doherty’s decision to sing at funeral of a fan named Daniel Squires, who passed away because of cancer last July.

According to The Sun, the duo vocalists sing together The Who’s classic songs in Bristol, England, on January 12 2009.
