UK Showbiz News – Former Eastenders star Wendy Richard – who played Pauline Fowler in the long-running soap opera – has died of cancer, aged 65.
The actress passed away on Thursday, her agent said.
“She was incredibly brave and retained her sense of humour right to the end,” said Kevin Francis.
Richard had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer last year and underwent chemotherapy, several newspapers reported.
Richard’s earlier roles included that of sales assistant Miss Brahms in the TV sitcom Are You Being served.
