Celebrity Gossip – Micheal Jackson had been secretly recording new music before his sudden death, it has been revealed. According to his longtime friend Deepak Chopra, Jackson — who died Thursday after suffering an apparent cardiac arrest at his home in Los Angeles — had written several new tracks, which he hoped would re-launch his once glittering music career.
“He was talking about this new song that he had done. He had shared that with me,” Chopra said. “I think I’m the only person who has the music right now… We were talking about all these things [like] how the earth is our body. He was thinking really big.
“He arranged a very elaborate way of getting these tapes to me, these CDs, with three bodyguards and a limousine with shaded windows. You would think he was transferring the secrets of the CIA [Central Intelligence Agency] to me. It took me a long time to open the package because it was covered in layer after layer after layer of plastic and cloth.
“He was very insecure about people knowing what he was up to in his music or his life because he had been hurt by the world.”
The star was due to begin a series of comeback concerts with an appearance at London’s O2 arena on July 13.
Chopra went onto reveal that Jackson, 50, was looking forward to the gifs, but admits he feared his friend wasn’t fit enough for the grueling residency.
“He was practising, he was fasting, yet he wasn’t physically in the position to do this,” he said.
