Robert Pattinson is a prisoner of the Paparazzi
Robert Pattinson — who’s currently in Vancouver, Canada, shooting Eclipse, the third flick in the vampire movie franchise — has a big problem with paparazzis. The actor is virtually jailed in his hotel, according to his Twilight costar Jack Hudson. Hudson says the 23-year-old British hunk is pretty much always in his hotel room so he can avoid the paparazzi and mobs of fans.
“I don’t think he gets to hang out with many people because he’s sort of jailed to his room,” Hudson said. “He can’t leave without being follow by a hundred people.
“There’s a price to fame. But hopefully he’s handling it okay.”
“Every time anyone from the cast emerges from the hotel they’re swarmed by paparazzi,” a Twilight insider said last month.
“He’s a prisoner of the paparazzi. It’s a nightmare. He almost never leaves the hotel except to go to the set. And when he does, the crew has to go great lengths to find ways to transport him from one location to another undetected.
“Because of the paparazzi, Rob has been unable to interact with his many fans.”
