Leighton Meester, the Gossip Girl star, Needs somebody to love. Meester says her new single, Somebody to Love, is all about her personal experience with love since starring on the hit CW network show.

“It is about what’s going on in my life and I think everyone can relate to it,” she said. “It’s about being crazy, busy, young and running round and it is really, really hard to find somebody to love.

“People love you but you don’t really love them. It’s about that struggle of finding someone.”

Meester, 23, recently revealed that she chooses her outfit depending on her mood.

“When it comes to fashion I am edgy and a risk taker but I also wear what feels right for me,” she dished. “A little bit of both.

“It is just about what feels good in the moment and a lot of what feels good in the moment is just about going for it.”
