Although the autopsy result of Whitney Houston was hidden, the police finally gives a little glimpse of the cause of death of the 48 year old singer. Unlike the previous allegations, Whitney’s death was not caused by drowning in the bathtub.

One source told TMZ that police found the amount of water in the lungs Whitney was too little to make someone die from drowning. Based on the autopsy, they are more convinced that Whitney died from drugs and alcohol consumed.

Reported by Bang Showbiz, Whitney was known to have consumed alcohol, Xanax and various other drugs shortly before her death. In addition, remains of food like a turkey sandwiches and jalapeno was also found in the room in Beverly Hilton hotel.

However, police still do not want to disclose the results of their investigation because it has not been completed as a whole. Autopsies of the bodies has actually been completed since Sunday (12/2), but still a lot of investigations needs to be conducted by the police.

Whitney died in a hotel bathtub on Saturday (11/2) at 3:55 o’clock in the afternoon. His body will be flown from Los Angeles to New Jersey on Monday (13/2) evening local time. Whitney was pronounced dead after paramedics performed first aid for 20 minutes.
