Entertainment Celebrity Gossip – According to American tabloid the National Enquirer, Adam Lambert has signed up to make a special guest appearance on the smash hit Fox TV show Glee.

“Producers made no secret of wanting Adam and he just loved the idea — especially when he learned he’d be playing big-brother mentor to the character Kurt, who’s needing a little help in coming out of the closet,” a source said

Lambert’s appearance will air in April.

The American Idol runner-up has previously revealed that he’d like to act.

“I hope acting’s in my future, yeah, It is something that I’ve done a lot over the past eight or 10 years. If the opportunity came up and it was the right thing, I would love to be a part of a film. Right now, I am going to try to work on the album first. One thing at a time, right!” Adam said in November last year.

Carrie Underwood — who won the fourth season of American Idol — says she still watches the program and votes for her favorite contestants.

“I will always have the biggest love for the show as a participant and as a fan,” she said. (more…)

Celebrity Gossip – Lady GaGa, the Bad Romance singer, insists her cameo appearance in US TV show Gossip Girl was the perfect role. GaGa — whose episode aired in America earlier this week — says her love of fashion and New York meant she “fitted right in” on the set of the CW drama.

“I love that show,” said GaGa, real name Stefani Germanotta. “I am a true New Yorker and I love fashion too, so I fitted right in.” (more…)

Celebrity Gossip – Scarlett Johansson — who is widely considered to be one of Hollywood’s most beautiful actresses — is set to make her Broadway debut as a 17-year-old girl. The 24-year-old actress will appear alongside Liev Schreiber in an adaptation of Arthur Miller’s A View From the Bridge which will run in New York’s famous theater district.

Scarlett will play the role of Catherine, Liev’s character Eddie’s niece. (more…)

Celebrity Gossip – Ricky Gervais will host the 67th Annual Golden Globes in January 2010, it was confirmed Monday. In a statement, Gervais said he simply couldn’t turn down the chance to be the telecast’s first host since 1995.

“Not only is this the biggest Hollywood celebration of the industry, which includes both film and TV, but also an environment where I feel I can get free reign as a host,” Gervais told People magazine. “I have resisted many other offers like this, but there are just some things you don’t turn down.” (more…)
