Celebrity Showbiz News – Sandra Bullock, the 45-year-old star, was named the Best Actress at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards Saturday night. Bullok was given the coveted prize — the same honor she was awarded at the Golden Globes last week — for her role as Leigh Anne Tuohy in The Blind Side and used her acceptance speech to brag about how much she loves her “hot” husband Jesse James.

“If this were only not televised so I could use the appropriate words I’m feeling right now,” Sandra said while accepting the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role award.

“Jesse, you get dressed up in monkey suits and sit at tables with people you don’t know.

”I love you so much and you’re really hot and I want you so much.”

Sandra was presented with the award at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium after beating fellow nominees Helen Mirren, Carey Mulligan, Gabourey Sidibe, and Meryl Streep.

Showbiz Celebrity Gossip – Jennifer Lopez is about to appear on the smash hit TV show Glee as a guest star.

Reports say that the singer/actress, 40, was asked by Glee creator Ryan Murphy to make a guest appearance as a cafeteria lady.

“We are writing a role for Ms Jennifer Lopez, who we love, We want her to be a cafeteria lady.” Murphy said.

Celebrity Showbiz News – According to a report on TMZ, Elton John is the hot favorite to replace Simon Cowell on American Idol, insiders say.

Idol producers are keen for the Rocket Man singer to fill the void left by Cowell, who announced earlier this week that the current season is his last.

When contacted for comment, Elton’s rep said, “He’s on holiday.”

Elton, 62, was recently hospitalized with an E.coli infection.
